Welcome
WELCOME TO THE BIG SKY STATE
Montana is the 4th largest state in the United States of America yet we have a very small population - about 1 million in more than 144,000 square miles of space. Most towns are very small with populations ranging from just under a thousand to about 10,000. A few cities have between 50,000 and 100,000.
The weather in Montana can be very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer. Summer days are long with sunset around 10 PM and in the winter days start getting dark around 4 PM. But, there are plenty of things to do year-round in Montana. While agriculture and mining are still present, there has been an increase in technology business as well as recreational opportunities for visitors.
